My Ham radio adventure.

Hello, I would like like to tell you about my Amature radio also called Ham radio adventure. It started when one day when I picked a ham radio license study guide off the shelf. After reading part of it, I checked out more books from the Library. I found an exam date in may and kept studying and taking the practice exams on the ARRLs website. I emailed my grandad who is a Ham to with a lot of questions. When he came to visit he brought some QST magazines which I read. When the exam date came I was really nervous. The exam was hosted by the local radio club. I passed with 26 questions correct and they gave me a certificate of successful completion. The FCC issued my call which was KE8JVZ and I made my first contact about a week later.

My first radio was a Baofeng Bf-F8HP and diamond antenna, for more info on my station can be found on my QRZ.com profile. (73)
